Vanadium Aluminum Alloy(V-Al)
Vanadium aluminum alloy is a kind of advanced alloy material widely used in aerospace
field. Vanadium aluminum alloy is an intermediate alloy with a minimum melting point of
1600℃ (including V40%). It is mainly used as an element additive for titanium alloy,
superalloy and some special alloys. It has high hardness, elasticity, seawater resistance
and lightness, used for making seaplanes and water gliders. Vanadium aluminum alloy
appearance is silver-gray metal luster block. With the increase of vanadium content in
the alloy, the metal luster was enhanced, the hardness increased and the oxygen content
increased.
Vanadium aluminum alloy application:
Vanadium aluminum alloy is a kind of advanced alloy material widely used in aerospace
field. It has high hardness, elasticity, seawater resistance and lightness. It is used to
make seaplane and waterglider. Only a few countries in the world, such as the United
States and Germany, have achieved industrial production.
