Zirconium Powder, Zr
Production process: Zirconium absorbs hydrogen at 400-800 ℃ and produces zirconium
hydride through a series of phase transitions. Zirconium hydride is decomposed at high
temperature. Generally, hydrogen can be dehydrogenated at 500℃ under a vacuum of
0.133 Pa, and hydrogen can be completely removed at 800-1000 ℃. Zirconium hydride
is refined by high-energy ball grinding and dehydrogenated to form high-performance
ultrafine zirconium powder under vacuum and high temperature.
State of storage and transportation: water seal zirconium powder (zirconium powder
commonly used in detonator, is a flammable and explosive, during transportation and
storage is general in the water seal) of zirconium powder drying methods: 1 under
argon protection drying in a vacuum drying oven drying, 2 both mechanical pump
pumping air into vacuum state, the temperature is best at about 55 degrees, etc.
The temperature has dropped below 30 degrees.
