     Zirconium silicon iron is one of the strongest deoxidizers in steelmaking and plays a special role in zirconium in steel. Zirconium silicon iron is used as a deoxidizer and alloy additive in high-temperature alloys, low-alloy high-strength steels, ultra high strength steels, and cast iron for special purposes, and is subsequently used in atomic technology, aviation manufacturing, radio technology, etc. The density of zirconium silicon iron is about 3.5g/cm3, and the melting temperature range is 1260-1345 ℃. 
The main function of zirconium ferrosilicon as an inoculant is to increase density, lower melting point, enhance absorption, etc. Among them, the zirconium element in zirconium ferrosilicon has a strong deoxidation effect, so zirconium also has deoxidation, desulfurization, nitrogen fixation, improves the fluidity of molten iron, and reduces the formation ability of pores. 
Zirconium silicon iron inoculant has strong anti-aging ability and promotes the formation of A-type graphite. If combined with a certain amount of Ba and Ti elements, the inoculation effect of zirconium silicon iron inoculant is very good. It can not only promote A-type graphite, increase nucleation ability, increase the number of eutectic clusters, reduce segregation, but also improve tissue uniformity.
